We provide practical training in EMDR, clinical supervision, mental health ethics, and assessment, with trainings actually made for your real world caseload. Every subject is taught through a culturally affirming and neuroaffirming lens. We are a group practice with a team of clinicians from varied backgrounds, all trauma trained (not just informed) and many of us neurodivergent ourselves. Who the hell are you learning from?

Cassandra Holt Kimbell, LPCC-S, NCC  &
Monica Williams, LPCC-S, LEP

Monica is from California and is an LEP (Licensed Educational Psychologist) and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). Monica's initial training was in school psychology where her career started out working at a charter school completing psycho-educational assessments with children, teens, and adults. After the pandemic, Monica decided to leave her full-time career as a school psychologist and launch her private practice. Since then, she has been working with young adults and adults on building self-esteem and self-image, and completing psychological assessments and educational evaluations.  She has a passion for utilizing and teaching how to incorporate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) skills in her private practice, and a love for supervising associates. She is also a university professor at Chapman University, where she supervises a group of students who are on the same path she was on in her graduate program.

Cassandra works with a diverse clientele, including creatives, freelancers, entrepreneurs, trauma survivors, individuals with mood disorders, and neurodivergent individuals. Her approach is eclectic, blending CBT, SFBT, and mindfulness-based practices, tailored to each client's unique needs. She is an EMDR certified therapist and CIT. Her background as a musician informs her understanding of the specific challenges faced by creatives and entrepreneurs. Her experience spans various settings, including treatment centers, schools, shelters, and telehealth. As a clinical supervisor, trainer, and consultant, this background allows her to provide informed guidance and support to other professionals working with these populations. She is committed to accessible, quality mental healthcare for all, and is LGBTQ+, sex worker, and trans friendly as well as a loud human rights advocate across the board.

Together, they make the perfect blend of artsy and practical.

We are mental health practitioners who love our field and want to share that and make change at the same time.
